The humble Speed Bag often shows up in the movies.  Sometimes as an activity by an actor and sometimes as a prop in the background. These movies include speed bag sitings.

  Million Dollar Baby (2004)  Several main scenes feature the speed bag including a scene with Clint Eastwood attempting to teach Hilary Swank how it works. (An interested method, I might add. Not one I would have chosen, but...)
 
 Rocky (1976)  Sylvester Stallone training sequences feature the speed bag. All the Rocky movies (I - V) have speed bag sequences by various actors. The original Rocky speed bag scenes probably sold more bags than any single movie. (MDB may have changed that...)
 
 Bad Boys (1995)  Martin Lawrence tries to hit in during a gym scene. 
 
 KickBoxer (1989)  Jean-Claude Van Damme Does a nick hook kick, Round house kick combination on a speed bag at the beginning of the movie.
 
  Champion (1949)  Kirk Douglas hits the speed bag from the Front and the Back.
 
 

 Dare Devil (2003) Ben Afflect hits the speed bag early in the movie.
 
 Spider-Man (2002) Tobey Maguire hits one early during his transformation.  
 
Titanic (1997)  Several scenes toward the end have the main characters in the titanic gymnasium, and a speed bag appears several times behind them. (Nice to know the Titanic had a speed bag onboard..)
 
The Perfect Weapon (1991)  Jeff Speakman is in a Korean Karate School, and while talking to a member another guy in the background performs a very nice jumping 360 hook kick to a speed bag. (left part of screen).

Ali (2001)  several training scenes feature Will Smith hitting the speed bag
L.A. Confidential (1997)   about 48 minutes into it.
Fat City ( 1972)  Jeff Bridges has a long speed bag sequence early in the movie.
